NHL Predictions
Seattle Kraken vs Detroit Red Wings
Time: 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
TV: Fan Duel Sports Detroit; KHN; KONG; Sportsnet; NHL Network
We open NHL predictions with the Seattle Kraken taking on the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL’s version of Squid Game. The Kraken are expected to go with Philipp Grubauer in between the pipes after Joey Daccord started in a 6-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres. New acquisition Kaapo Kakko notched a pair of goals in short order to power Seattle to victory.
Detroit is likely to go with Cam Talbot in between the pipes for this one. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The hiring of Todd McLellan has been just what the Red Wings have needed. Detroit has reeled off six consecutive wins and put itself back into the Stanley Cup Playoff race.
Seattle is coming off a win, but Detroit has found itself with a new bench boss.
Prediction: Red Wings win 4-2.

Ottawa is 4-5-1 in the last 10, but did win the last time out. Newly-extended forward has four goals and an assist in the last 10 games.
Both teams will be going with their backup netminders, but Dallas should keep it going.
