Cats looking for two points against Pacific Division leaders
After getting a couple days off after beating the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday, the Florida Panthers (31-27-6) will continue its quest to land a playoff spot when they host the Vegas Golden Knights (38-19-6) tonight at FLA Live Arena. Florida has five games left on its current homestand and capturing two points against the top team in the Pacific Division would keep them pointed in the right direction. The Golden Knights are opening a five-game road trip tonight in Sunrise. Before heading east, Vegas made a winner of newly-acquired goaltender Jonathan Quick when they beat the Montreal Canadiens 4-3 at T-Mobile Arena on Sunday.
