The Miami Heat have waived guard Marcus Garrett from his Two-Way contract. Garrett will undergo season-ending surgery on his right wrist.
Miami plans to replace Garrett with Kyle Guy on a Two-Way contract. Guy is completing a second 10-day hardship contract with the Heat.
In six games with Miami, Guy has averaged 8.2 points on 51.4% shooting from the field, including 45% from behind the arc. Guy previously played for the Sacramento Kings on a two-year, Two-Way contract.
