The Miami Heat are opening a three-game road trip without two regular starters. Both Andrew Wiggins and Duncan Robinson are out to start the three-game set, which begins at the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.
Wiggins didn’t travel with Miami to Philadelphia because he’s dealing with right hamstring tendinopathy. The veteran wing has already missed eight games since being acquired by the Heat at the trade deadline.
Robinson also didn’t travel, as he is trying to work through back soreness. This back injury is a different one from last season, but Robinson still remains out.
With their G League season complete, the Heat have recalled Keshad Johnson and two-way players Josh Christopher and Isaiah Stevens. That will give Miami additional depth for the final two weeks of the season.
