Tyreek Hill is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, but that doesn’t mean he still doesn’t like some anonymity.
Video surfaced over the weekend of Hill being stopped by a bystander while putting gas in his McLaren. The man complimented Hill on the vehicle before asking him what he does for a living to be able to afford the luxury car.
“I’m a plumber,” Hill responded, to which the other person asked if he owned the plumbing company.
Hill said his father did, and the man then asked if his dad gave him the car or if it was a rental.
Amazingly, the All-Pro wideout continued the plumber ruse for about a full minute.
We’re guessing either the person asking questions truly didn’t know who Hill was, or if he figured it out, decided to play along for a while.
As astute football fans know, the 30-year-old Hill has been in the NFL now since 2016. He makes his money being one of the best in the game, and last season, he showed no signs of slowing down.
In 2023, Hill tied a career-high with 119 receptions while gaining a career-best 1,799 receiving yards and adding 13 touchdowns. Since becoming a full-time starter in 2017, Hill has posted six 1,000-yard seasons in seven years.
