Tyreek Hill put up major numbers with Patrick Mahomes throwing him the ball in Kansas City, but there was something missing in their relationship, the All-Pro wide receiver said.
During an appearance on Robert Griffin III’s podcast, Hill admitted he was jealous of the bond Mahomes shared with star tight end Travis Kelce.
“Pat had Kelce and I was kinda jealous,” Hill admitted before he and Griffin burst out into laughter. “I was hurt. Patrick you ain’t never invite me over to your house like you did Kelce. You always invited Kelce. That’s why we here where we at now.”

Griffin then said that in Hill’s current situation in Miami with Tua Tagovailoa, he never has to wonder who the main target is.
“I never been anybody’s side chick before. Never. Always, my whole life, high school, middle school, all the quarterback’s main chick. I go to KC, now I’m the side chick. I’m like ‘Hold on, what’s goin’ on here?” Hill said.
It’s fair to note that Hill made four Pro Bowls and earned two first-team All-Pro designations working alongside Mahomes from 2018-21. He also caught 43 touchdowns, including 15 scores in 2018.
In his first season with the Dolphins in 2022, Hill set career-highs in catches (117) and receiving yards (1,710). So far this year, he has 88 receptions, 1,324 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in 11 games.
