As bummed as he may be to not be in the Super Bowl with his Miami Dolphins, newly-minted NFL Offensive Player of the Year Tyreek Hill is happy to see his former team the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers. But is he willing to pick his former team to win the big game?
You bet he is. In a recent interview, the All-Pro wide receiver said that he’ll always pick the Chiefs over any team other than his Dolphins. For a prediction, he has them winning by a field goal in a high-scoring finish.
“If the dolphins aren’t playing football, the next team I’m going for is the Chiefs – as always… I see the Chiefs winning 34-31,” Hill said.
Hill played for the Chiefs from 2016 to 2021, winning a Super Bowl in 2019 and playing in a second one in 2020.
But after the 2021 season, Hill was traded to the Dolphins in a blockbuster move and subsequently signed a new contract that made him one of the highest paid receivers in NFL history.
However, since joining the Dolphins while the regular season accolades and success has been consistent, he hasn’t been able to enjoy quite as much postseason dominance as before.
Will Hill’s former team win yet another Super Bowl in his absence?
