Tyreek Hill remained sidelined Thursday as the Miami Dolphins prepare for a Week 15 matchup with the New York Jets.
The superstar wide receiver sat out a team walkthrough for the second consecutive day. His status remains uncertain for Sunday’s AFC East showdown.
Hill left Monday night’s game against the Tennessee Titans. He grabbed his ankle in pain on the ground, but eventually shot up and jogged off the field.

The 29-year-old claimed he’s “good” during a live stream Wednesday night.
“I’ll be all right,” Hill said. “It’s part of my job, so it’s kind of expected to get dinged up at this point of the season. It is what it is.”

When speaking to reporters Thursday, Mike McDaniel said the team will be “prudent and smart” with how they handle the MVP candidate.
“He’s such an important part of our team that we’re going to make sure that when he’s on the field, he’s not at risk of further injury to himself,” McDaniel said.
On one hand, it would make sense for the Dolphins not to take any chances as eight-point home favorites against the Jets. They hold a two-game lead in the AFC East with four weeks remaining.
Yet Tua Tagovailoa would certainly miss his speedy teammate against an elite Gang Green defense. Only the Cleveland Browns have allowed more passing yards than the Jets, but Hill burned them for 102 yards and a touchdown in a 34-13 win on Black Friday.
He’s on pace for a single-season record 2,016 receiving yards, so a missed game could hinder that chase.
On the bright side, Miami upgraded Terron Armstead, Xavien Howard, and Raheem Mostert to limited practice participants on Thursday’s injury report. Dolphins fans will hope for better news on Hill and Co. during Friday’s practice.
