Tyreek Hill has a chance to be the first receiver to ever win the NFL’s MVP award. But the Dolphins’ deep threat admits he’d rather see his QB get the accolade than him.
Speaking to reporters over the weekend, Hill said he was “blessed” to be in the position he’s in and would love to see teammate Tua Tagovailoa receive the honor.
“It’s a quarterback award,” Hill said. “We all know that. And if Tua won it, I’d be happy. I’d be happier if Tua won it. I feel like I’ve gotten everything I want. I get a chance to play the game that I love. God has blessed me with that. But obviously, winning the award would be icing on the cake.”

“But God has blessed me with just everything I’ve got, with just being here in Miami,” he continued. “My family is enjoying life. I’m enjoying life. I’m just enjoying what every day has to offer. I couldn’t ask for more.”
Hill is on pace to be the first wideout to eclipse the 2,000-yard mark in a single season and has further separated himself as the most-feared perimeter weapon in the league.
Since arriving in Dade County, Hill has done everything he could to boost Tua’s confidence and hype up his talents. We’ll see how voters feel four weeks from now.
