Two of the Miami Dolphins’ best playmakers on offense missed practice on Wednesday.
Star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and running back Raheem Mostert were absent from practice as they continue to nurse their injuries. Waddle is dealing with a high ankle sprain while Mostert has a knee and an ankle injury.
Waddle’s ankle injury kept him out for last Sunday’s 56-19 loss against the Baltimore Ravens. Mostert also had to miss the game with his ailments.
The Dolphins are hoping that they’ll be good to go for this Sunday night against the Buffalo Bills considering how important it is. Even though the Dolphins have already clinched a playoff spot, they still haven’t won the AFC East.
A win over the Bills clinches them the division, which would mean at least one home playoff game in Miami. A loss would mean a playoff game on the road.
It remains to be seen if one or both will practice as the week goes on.
Kickoff for Sunday’s game will be at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
