Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has no shortage of critics on social media. But he has a ton of supporters as well who will fight his critics online – and his mother ranks among them.
Earlier today, Diane Tagovailoa shared a photo of herself, Tua and Tua’s father Galu all sharing a loving photo together. That photo apparently didn’t sit well with one NFL fans.
The fan wrote, “Worst qb ive seen in my life,” and instantly got ratio’d on X. But while just about everyone in the replies roasted the fan, Diane Tagovailoa migh thave had the best response:
“Your mom must be proud,” she wrote, instantly getting applause from other fans for her standing up for him.
“I will support your son forever! He’s been my QB1 since day one….TUA TUA TUA,” one user replied.
“Don’t listen to the haters, Tua is amazing,” wrote another.
“COOK HIM MAMA TAGOVAILOA,” a third wrote.
Tua Tagovailoa has long been criticized for being unreliable due to a litany of injuries or a mere system quarterback due to the incredible talent level of the players around him.
Nevertheless, he’s been one of the top passers for the past two years when healthy and made his first Pro Bowl in 2023 while leading the league in passing yards.
Tagovailoa is now on the verge of getting a long-term contract with the Dolphins that will most likely make him the highest-paid player in franchise history.
