This week’s version of Sunday Night Football features the Green Bay Packers, who will travel to take on the Seattle Seahawks. Green Bay comes into week 15 with a 9 and 4 record, in third place in the NFC North. The Packers are coming off a loss to the NFC North-leading Detroit Lions last week, 24 to 14. The Seahawks have an 8 and 5 record, good enough for first place in the NFC South before this week’s slate of games. Seattle is also coming off a divisional loss after dropping last week’s game to the Los Angeles Rams, 26 to 20.

—My Pick: The Packers will cover. While some are tempted to lean toward the Seahawks due to their four-game run after their bye week, those four wins came over an overrated Arizona Cardinals team (2 wins) as well as a poor New York Jets team and an injury-riddled and struggling San Francisco 49ers team. On the other side of the ball, the Packers have won three of their last five, with both losses coming to the Detroit Lions over that period. In those two losses, the Lions outscored the Pack 58 to 46, but the Lions are clearly the best team in the NFL at this point. The Packers are better than the Seahawks in nearly every statistical category on both sides of the ball this season. Seattle is a solid team, and their stadium is one of the most difficult for away teams to play in. The Packers are still the better of the two teams. While this game will likely be close, I expect Green Bay to edge the Seahawks by at least a field goal margin this evening.
