Ahead of Donald Trump’s campaign rally at Trump National Doral Tuesday night, a rumor began circulating on social media that Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa would be in attendance.
It all started when a Dolphins fan on X/Twitter posted an image of a seat reserved in Tua’s name in the front row tonight, next to Trump’s family members.
While the tweet caused a stir among the Miami fanbase and Trump’s online supporters, it appears it was a doctored photo.
The actual seat was set aside for Trump’s son Barron.

Perhaps Tua will be voting for the Republican nominee and 45th President this November, but he’s not at the rally tonight and has actually been pretty quiet about his political leanings throughout his NFL career.
The Dolphins signal caller did meet Trump at the White House after he won the national championship at Alabama as a freshman, taking a selfie with the former star of “The Apprentice” and getting shouted out by Trump on stage.
“On the first play of overtime, Georgia sacked Tua for a big loss. … But the Crimson Tide never gave in — never even a little bit — and it just worked out,” Trump said.
“On the very next play, Tua dropped back to pass, launched the ball from near midfield — I was watching — and the entire country watched as arms lifted up, and DeVonta Smith caught that ball for the win.”
