The Miami Dolphins are reportedly making a big push to bring Odell Beckham Jr. down to South Beach.
According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Fins are “trying pretty hard” to sign the three-time Pro Bowler but it hasn’t resulted in a deal just yet.
The Miami Dolphins are trying pretty hard to sign Odell Beckham. They’ve made him, I’m told, at least one offer — possibly two. They’ve been in contact with him and his representatives… they’re not quite there yet. … Odell Beckham is willing to wait if he has to a little bit. He’s done this in the past. … But there is interest mutually in Miami.
At last month’s league meetings, head coach Mike McDaniel admitted that the team reached out to Beckham with an offer.
Telling the Miami Herald: “We did make him an offer and business takes time, especially with players such as Odell, who’s had a phenomenal career, still has really good football in front of him and has options. So, I think those conversations will be ongoing. We’ll see where they go.”
Dolphins All-Pro wideout Tyreek Hill also seemingly confirmed that Odell was on his way to MIA earlier this week with a Snapchat story that showed the two receivers hugging and the caption, “OBJ to Miami confirmed.”
Beckham played 14 games with six starts for the Ravens in 2023. In that span he caught 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns.
