Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is making headlines this week for the wrong reasons.
Sophie Hall, a plus-size model and social media influencer, is suing Hill for battery, assault and negligence.
Hall, 35, claims Hill knocked her down with “crushing force” during a backyard football lesson. This apparently happened after he was “humiliated” that she stood her ground in a previous drill.
It was such a brutal fall for Hall that she needed reconstructive surgery on her right leg. It allegedly took months of physical therapy for her to recover.
‘Tyreek Hill, a National Football League superstar, perennial Pro Bowler, First Team All-Pro and world class athlete nicknamed the “Cheetah” for his incredible combination of strength and speed, makes his living humiliating and outperforming his competition on the football field,’ her complaint states.
‘Unfortunately, after getting ”humiliated” in front of friends and family when he was knocked backwards during a friendly football lesson by his friend Sophie Hall, Tyreek became enraged and forcefully and purposefully shoved Ms. Hall, severely fracturing her leg.’
If these allegations are true, that’s a horrible look for Hill.
Hill, who is coming off another All-Pro season, hasn’t responded to these allegations. The Dolphins have not released a statement regarding these allegations either.
