Dolphins wide receiver and former Alabama star Jaylen Waddle had to take that L (or wear it) after reportedly making a bet with Tom Garfinkel, the team’s CEO, regarding this year’s Rose Bowl.
Waddle’s Crimson Tide came up just short to the Michigan Wolverines, losing in overtime after leading by seven with just under five minutes to go in regulation.
The former No. 6 pick showed up to his media availability rocking all UM gear, which definitely got a good laugh on social media:

“If Jaylen Waddle ever played one snap at Michigan I would have melted into a puddle of happiness and never recovered,” a Big Blue alum said. “This is my alternate timeline now.”

Hopefully for Waddle’s sake it was just the one media session.
