As the offseason ends and NFL teams return to work, all the different preseason rankings come. There are rankings of the teams themselves. I have also seen rankings ranging from a team’s game day food and drink offerings to individual player rankings by position. So, of course, someone, well, many someone’s or at least multiple publications have their various rankings of NFL head coaches. I have seen the Miami Dolphins head coach ranked anywhere as low as 20 to as high as 11 (as in this post recently by CBS ). All of the posts seem to have Andy Ried as the top head coach at present in the NFL. I don’t know if there is any way to quantify who the best head coach actually is, but I guess there are worse ways to do so than by selecting the winner of the past two Super Bowls.
So tonight’s question of the day is: Do you think that CBS or any of the other publications have McDaniel ranked too high or too low, and where would you rank him against the rest of the head coaches in the NFL?
