After the disaster at the beginning of last season’s free agency period, our Miami Dolphins seemed to rebound somewhat with a flurry of what seemed like solid signings. Some worked out, and some did not. Despite what seemed like a free-agent period that seemed to fill most of the roster holes, injuries to starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and some remaining holes in the roster doomed the team to regress from last season.
Following the season, many fans wanted to see general manager Chris Grier, head coach Mike McDaniel, or both fired. By now, all those fans know that owner Stephen Ross has decided that both will remain in their respective positions throughout the 2025 season.
So, assuming that you were on board with one of those two or both being fired given the horrible outcome of 2024, the Phinsider Question Of The Day is: What level of progress in the record, making it to the playoffs, winning a playoff game, or going beyond that in the playoffs do you find an acceptable level of improvement year over year to bring both back in 2026?
