The NFL goes international in Week 1 as the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles take a Friday night primetime matchup to Brazil. Who do we think will win?
The opening week of the 2024 NFL season began last night with the Kansas City Chiefs holding on to win as the Baltimore Ravens made a furious attempt at a comeback. Typically, the schedule would wait until Sunday to pick back up with the next set of games. This year, however, the league has a Friday night game with the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles facing off in Brazil. How will that game turn out? Our staff writers are back with their winners picks for the game.
As we get back into the swing of things here on The Phinsider, one of our annual in-season events is our contributor picks pool. We select the straight-up winner for each game on the schedule, from yesterday’s kickoff game through to the Super Bowl. Yesterday, James McKinney, our reigning champion from last year’s pool, Marek Brave, and Kevin Nogle each made their pick for the winner – and all three correctly predicted the Chiefs to come away with the win.
How will the picks go for tonight’s game? You can check out our predictions below. While we primarily use straight-up/moneyline picks for our pool, you can also see any picks against the spread and the over/under for the point total in the widget below.
