Free agent cornerback Xavien Howard is facing some pretty serious allegations in a court filing that was made this week.
According to the filing, Howard is alleged to have sent sexually explicit photos of himself to a minor, who was the son of a woman Howard wanted to get an abortion. Per the report, the act was an act of retaliation against the woman for refusing to do so.
As you might imagine, such an act violates a number of laws and if proven true, Howard could face serious repercussions in a court of law.
The court of opinion, however, has pretty much already decided that Howard is one of the worst people in the NFL for doing something like that (allegedly). There’s no shortage of angry remarks on social media directed at the All-Pro cornerback right now:
“How can we lifetime ban athletes for BETTING on sports(that are all sponsored by gambling companies)…and yet we don’t even discuss banning them for things like this? Makes no sense,” one user remarked in response to the story.
“I feel like I could have done just fine without knowing any of this…ever…” wrote another.
“This is another level unhinged,” a third wrote.
If Xavien Howard was having a hard time finding an NFL team before this allegation came to light, it’s going to be a whole lot harder now.
