As of right now, Tyreek Hill is still a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins. Maybe that changes soon. Maybe it doesn’t. Either way, Jaylen Waddle may be setup for a lead role sooner rather than later. Waddle had a quiet 2024 season but so did the entire Dolphins offense with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa only appearing in 11 games. But with trade rumors surround Hill, Waddle would become the team’s lead receiver if they were to move Hill. Waddle has proven time and again he can step into that lead role when called upon.
