The Miami Dolphins are hoping to have two of their top playmakers at their disposal for this Sunday’s clash with the Buffalo Bills.
For the past two days, Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and running back Raheem Mostert have missed practice due to injury.
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel announced this Friday that Waddle and Mostert will receive practice reps before the weekend arrives. As a result, he’s unwilling to close the door on either of them suiting up for Week 18.
Waddle and Mostert both suffered ankle injuries against the Dallas Cowboys on Dec. 24. They were ruled out for last Sunday’s showdown with the Baltimore Ravens.
Jaylen Waddle (ankle) and Raheem Mostert (ankle/knee) will both get some practice reps today. Neither has practiced yet this week.
Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel said he hasn’t closed the door on either of them playing Sunday vs. Bills yet. Today’s progress will be important.

If Waddle is inactive this Sunday, that would undoubtedly hurt Miami’s passing attack. The talented wideout from Alabama has 72 catches for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns this season.
The same thing can be said for Mostert, who has been a touchdown machine for the Dolphins. He has reached the end zone 21 times while racking up over 1,000 yards on the ground.
The Dolphins will release their final injury report for Week 18 fairly soon.
