The Miami Dolphins look for their first win against the Houston Texans in Houston as the NFL’s Week 15 schedule unfolds.
The Miami Dolphins have not had the season they expected, riding a roller coaster of highs and lows to a 6-7 record heading into Week 15. Coming off a win over the New York Jets in Week 14, the Dolphins look to make it back-to-back wins and keep themselves in the AFC playoff picture. To do that, however, they are going to have to win a game against a team they have never beaten on the road: the Houston Texans.
The Dolphins have been looking to kill narratives this year. While the storyline that the team cannot win in cold weather is alive and well following the team’s dismal showing on Thanksgiving night against the Green Bay Packers, the team could take a shot at ending the talk that they cannot win on the road against “good” teams. Houston is 8-5 on the season and leading the AFC South; beating Miami and a loss by the Indianapolis Colts would lock down the division title for Houston.
The Dolphins are facing a team that could lock themselves into the postseason in a place where Miami has never won. Seems like an excellent time for the Dolphins to end a narrative.
