The Miami Dolphins season is over, and wide receiver Tyreek Hill made it clear that he wants a trade. A five-time First-Team All-Pro and eight-time Pro Bowl selection, Hill just finished his worst season since his rookie campaign. Starting and appearing in all 17 games, the star wide receiver finished the season with 81 receptions for 959 yards and six touchdowns, his lowest marks since his 12-game 2019 season.
Hill spent his early years in Kansas City before joining the Dolphins via trade in 2022. After recording two 1,700-yard seasons in his first two years with the team, defenses adjusted to Mike McDaniel’s speed-based offense. The offensive guru responded by incorporating tight end Jonnu Smith into the passing attack, which limited Hill’s production. Additionally, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missed a sizable portion of the season, and backups Skylar Thompson and Tyler Huntley couldn’t carry the offense.
Having just finished his age-30 season, Tyreek Hill is closer to the end of his career than the beginning and has hinted at trade requests throughout the offseason. However, his latest interview showed he’s not messing around: the star receiver wants out of Miami, and several teams should be willing to make an offer for the speedster.

Tyreek Hill Demands Trade In Jarring Postgame Interview
Possible Destinations
Kansas City Chiefs
With his career winding down, perhaps Tyreek Hill returns to where it all began. While he set career highs in Miami, the wide receiver is obviously a fit with former head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes. First-round pick Xavier Worthy has come alive in recent weeks, but DeAndre Hopkins and Marquise Brown are free agents and Rashee Rice could miss a sizable portion of the 2025 season with a suspension. Reid knows how to keep Hill in line, and a reunion could mean more Lombardi Trophies for the NFL’s most dominant franchise.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Speaking of teams that know how to control diva receivers, the Pittsburgh Steelers need more offensive firepower. While the team started out hot, their late-season collapse shows Russell Wilson can’t carry a team by himself anymore. With all signs suggesting Wilson will return in 2025, Pittsburgh must add a legitimate weapon for this offense. A Tyreek Hill trade could be just what the doctor ordered, as Wilson still throws a beautiful deep ball.
Carolina Panthers
After a disastrous start to the season, quarterback Bryce Young has silenced all the doubters and proved he should be under center for this team in 2025. Only time will tell if he can maintain this momentum into the upcoming season, but adding Tyreek Hill will only increase his odds of becoming the proper heir to Cam Newton. Jalen Coker looks like a real find, but he lacks the elite upside and game-breaking talent of Hill. Giving Young a legitimate star could be enough to power this team to a playoff spot in 2025.
Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers are in the playoffs despite a lackluster group of wide receivers. Second-round pick Ladd McConkey is the real deal and 2023 first-round pick Quentin Johnston is coming off the game of his life, but there is still room for improvement. The Chargers don’t have a proper deep threat, which is a shame when you have an elite downfield passer in Justin Herbert. Head coach Jim Harbaugh prefers to win games on the ground, but this potential pairing might be too good to ignore.
New England Patriots
The Dolphins probably won’t trade Tyreek Hill in the division, which is why the Patriots are so low on this list. However, the player and team could be a match made in heaven. Jerod Mayo is gone, and Mike Vrabel will probably take his place. While Vrabel is a defensive-minded coach, he personally knows how important a good wide receiver can be for an offense. New England has their quarterback of the future in Drake Maye, and this offseason should focus on giving him the tools he needs to thrive.
