Superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill missed the Miami Dolphins’ first practice of the week on Wednesday due to the ankle injury he suffered during Friday’s win over the New York Jets.
Hill tweaked his ankle early in Friday’s game, but it didn’t prevent him from catching nine passes for 102 yards and a touchdown as Miami earned a 34-13 victory.
Running back Raheem Mostert (ankle/knee), who scored two touchdowns against the Jets, and safety Jevon Holland (knees), who scored on the “Fail Mary” pick-6 at the end of the first half on Friday, also missed practice Wednesday, as did offensive tackle Kendall Lamm (back).

Through 11 games this season, Hill has already caught 88 passes for 1,324 yards and 10 touchdowns. He’s helped lead the Dolphins to an 8-3 start and a 2.5 game lead in the AFC East.
Miami will take on the Washington Commanders Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. ET.
We wouldn’t worry about Hill being unable to suit up for that one unless he doesn’t practice tomorrow or Friday.
