The Miami Dolphins also waived Neil Farrell on Saturday.
Miami Dolphins linebacker Cameron Goode was activated off injured reserve and is expected to make his season debut Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. A 2022 seventh-round draft pick, he had two quarterback hits while appearing in every game last season but suffered a season-ending knee injury against the Buffalo Bills in Week 18.
The Dolphins will be light at edge rusher Sunday. The Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson shared Saturday that Quinton Bell is questionable after being added to the injury report with an illness. Additionally, Bradley Chubb was not activated alongside Goode, meaning he’ll be unavailable to play Sunday.

“I would say that during the process we had felt that Cam was a little ahead, but I would be remiss if I would rule anybody anything for this game,” McDaniel said Friday. “But optimistic we’ll see one or both here when they’re ready and that’s what we’re making sure that we’re communicative and they’re empowered and feel ready to play football.”
Miami released 2022 fourth-round pick Neil Farrell to make room for Goode on the 53-man roster. Farrell has appeared in 19 games with the Dolphins, Las Vegas Raiders, and Kansas City Chiefs. He logged two tackles across seven games this season.
Lastly, Miami elevated wide receiver Erik Ezukanma for Week 16’s game with the 49ers. He played 11 snaps in Week 3 against the Seattle Seahawks but hasn’t appeared since. With Jaylen Waddle and Dee Eskridge doubtful, Ezukanma can make his case for a role in the offense next season.
Wide receiver Tyreek Hill is questionable but is expected to be available. Kickoff between the Dolphins and 49ers is slated for 4:25 p.m. ET at Hard Rock Stadium.
