Callen Bullock nearly took an interception nearly 70 yards for a touchdown right before halftime on Sunday.
Running back De’Von Achane was held to just 41 rushing yards on 12 carries Sunday against the Houston Texans but found other ways to impact the game. With the Miami Dolphins offense driving at the Houston 39 and just 25 seconds left in the first half, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was intercepted by Texans safety Callen Bullock.
Bullock shot out of a cannon and down the sideline, passing Miami’s 10-yard line before Achane caught up and took him down. Miami drafted Achane in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft because of his game-changing speed, which helped keep four points off the board in Houston.

Achane reached a top speed of 22.19 mph to take down Bullock — the 15th-fastest speed recorded this season, according to ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques. His efforts weren’t wasted as a sack by Anthony Walker on the following play helped force the Texans to settle for a 23-yard field goal.

Four turnovers and the inability to score doomed Miami’s playoff chances in Sunday’s 20-12 loss, but holding Houston to just 20 or fewer points for the fourth time this season kept the Dolphins competitive for four quarters Sunday.
