The Miami Dolphins offense revolved around De’Von Achane in both the run and pass game in Week 16.
Achane finished with 120 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries (7.1 yards per rush). He also led Miami in the receiving department with 70 yards on six receptions. It was the third highest rushing yard total of Achane’s career, and his second highest all-purpose yards total.
Achane’s 50-yard touchdown run was the dagger in the fourth quarter, putting the Dolphins up by double-digits with under two minutes to go.

In the 29-17 Dolphins win, Achane was the focal point from start to finish. His 190 all-purpose yards accounted for almost exactly half of the Dolphins’ total yards (381). It was Achane’s sixth game this season with over 100 all-purpose yards.
While the team’s success offensively, especially on the ground, has seen a significant dip in 2024, Achane has still managed to put together an impressive campaign. He has solidified himself as the Dolphins’ main running back and one of the most dynamic offensive talents in the NFL.
Miami improved its record to 7-8, keeping their slim playoff hopes alive with a matchup against the 3-12 Cleveland Browns coming next weekend.
