18 Georgia players met with NFL teams and participated in drills on Wednesday.
Free agency and the 2025 NFL league year began Wednesday, but the Miami Dolphins were scouting some Bulldogs.
General manager Chris Grier, head coach Mike McDaniel, and defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver attended Georgia’s Pro Day to get a closer look at prospects looking to make the leap from Athens, Georgia, to the NFL.

Players participating included Warren Brinson (DL), Chaz Chambliss (OLB), Trevor Etienne (RB), Dylan Fairchild (OG), Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins (DL), Dan Jackson (S), Dominic Lovett (WR), Smael Mondon (ILB), Tate Ratledge (OG), Izayah Reeves (WR), Arian Smith (WR), Nazir Stackhouse (DL), Malaki Starks (S), Xavier Truss (OL), Jalon Walker (LB), Mykel Williams (DL), Jared Wilson (OL), and Ben Yurosek (TE), according to Olivia Sayer, who covers UGA for 247sports.
Draft experts have projected Starks and Walker to the Dolphins ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. Walker, who won the Butkus Award as the nation’s top linebacker, would fit in nicely next to Jordyn Brooks. Starks, who met with Miami at the Combine, would help rebuild a depleted safety unit after Jevon Holland’s departure to the New York Giants.
The Dolphins re-signed Tyrel Dodson and added two safeties early in free agency, but the franchise could use a high-impact player at either position. Miami’s defense ranked sixth in yards allowed per game last season (314), but adding Starks or Walker would be a step toward improving one of just seven teams to average fewer than one takeaway per game in 2025.
