The Dolphins enter Week 18 with a chance to make the playoffs after a roller coaster of a year. How are fans feeling about the team?
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Miami Dolphins fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
The Miami Dolphins’ 2024 season has not been the triumphant success that was expected before the season starts, with the team rolling through the regular season in route to a deep playoff run in the AFC. Instead, it has been a case of ups and downs, with a 2-6 start followed by a 6-2 run. Now at 8-8, thanks to a Week 17 win over the Cleveland Browns, Miami enters the final week of the regular season with a chance to claim a spot in the AFC playoff picture.
They cannot do it on their own, however, as a win over the New York Jets in Week 18 is only half their path to the postseason. The Dolphins will also need a loss by the Denver Broncos, who are hosting the Kansas City Chiefs for their season finale.
After the start to the year, the injuries the team has sustained, and all the other obstacles the team has faced – or created for themselves – the Dolphins have a chance to still get into the championship tournament. Which brings us to today’s SB Nation Reacts survey. How are you feeling about the direction of the team? Let us know by voting in the poll below and feel free to head to the comments to discuss.
