Neither the Miami Dolphins nor the Cleveland Browns practiced Wednesday ahead of a Week 17 matchup, opting instead to give their players the holiday off.
In an estimation of what their Wednesday practice would’ve looked like, the Dolphins said that six players would have sat out the session.
Among those not ready to be on the practice field are wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, who sat out Week 16 due to a knee injury, and cornerback Kendall Fuller, who suffered a knee injury of his own Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.
“It doesn’t look like he’ll be able to play this game,” Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said of Fuller on Tuesday. “But [we’ll] keep an open mind for the following [week].”
