Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is officially listed as doubtful due to a hip injury.
The Miami Dolphins announced that franchise quarterback Tua Tagovailoa won’t start Sunday and six others are questionable for Sunday’s season finale against the New York Jets.
Tagovailoa (hip) is officially listed as doubtful. The team also announced that linebacker Anthony Walker will miss his second straight game due to a knee injury.
The six questionable players: Defensive tackle Calais Campbell was limited late in the week with a neck injury, wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist/illness) practiced fully Thursday but missed Friday, left tackle Terron Armstead (knee) practiced for the first time Friday but was limited, safety Jevon Holland remains limited with a wrist issue, wide receiver Jaylen Waddle practiced fully for the first time Friday as he works back from a knee injury, and wide receiver Dee Eskridge joined the injury report Friday with a finger injury.
New York enters the week having lost five of its last six games and has its injury issues. Cornerback Sauce Gardner has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury and defensive tackle Leki Fotu is doubtful due to a knee injury.
Tight end Tyler Conklin (calf), offensive tackle Morgan Moses (knee), guard Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle), and nose tackle Quinnen Williams are also questionable.
Kickoff between the Jets and Dolphins is set for 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium. Miami enters the week with slim playoff hopes needing a win and a loss from the Denver Broncos, who are facing a Kansas City Chiefs team resting several starters.
