After having a bye week for the first round of the College Football Playoffs, Boise State will face off against Penn State this evening. Penn State played in the first round of the playoffs on December 21st. In that game, Penn blew out the SMU Mustangs 38 to 10. Prior to the playoff game, Penn State lost in the Big 10 Championship game to the Oregon Ducks 45 to 37 back on December 7th. Boise State’s last match was in their championship game for the Mountain West Conference against the UNLV Rebels, 21 to 7.
