The Miami Dolphins were top ten in points and yards allowed under Anthony Weaver.
The Miami Dolphins may soon search for their fourth defensive coordinator in four seasons.
Dianna Russini, senior NFL insider for The Athletic, shared that the New Orleans Saints have joined the Chicago Bears in requesting to speak with Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver about their open head coaching position.

The Dolphins saw their season fizzle away as Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdowns in a 32-20 New York Jets win on Sunday, but Weaver’s unit remained a bright spot, ranking No. 10 in points allowed per game despite missing top players Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips for most of the season.
Weaver’s appeal extends beyond his success in Miami. Before joining the Dolphins, he served as the Houston Texans’ defensive coordinator and spent three seasons as the defensive line coach for the Baltimore Ravens, where he was also assistant head coach for two years. He also interviewed for head coaching roles with the Washington Commanders and Atlanta Falcons last offseason.
Let us know what you think — after Josh Boyer, Vic Fangio, and now the noise surrounding Anthony Weaver — will the Dolphins be searching for another defensive coordinator? Would former New York Jets coach Robert Saleh make sense in Miami?
