When the Miami Dolphins played the New England Patriots in Week 5, they did a decent enough job limiting the Patriots’ best players and barely escaped with a victory.
New England is returning most of the same squad, but both teams will have different starting quarterbacks in the rematch. Tua Tagovailoa returned from the injured reserve and replaced backup Tyler Huntley, while New England’s No. 3 overall pick Drake Maye supplanted now-backup Jacoby Brissett.
While Miami left New England with a 15-10 victory, it was far from a convincing one. The Dolphins special teams left a couple opportunities on the field, and New England was a toe tap, a fourth down conversion, or 10 more yards away from sending the Dolphins home with a loss.
