At the beginning of the season, a late meeting between the Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns could have been a fight for a wild card playoff berth. Now, it’s a game Miami could and should win to keep them within reach of a spot in the playoffs.
However, even though there is a small chance Miami could make the playoffs, a win Sunday would be more about building momentum into the offseason than anything else. Cleveland, on the other hand, seems like it wants to be improving its draft pick.
After losing Deshaun Watson to a season-ending achilles injury and benching Jameis Winston, Dorian Thompson-Robinson is leading the offense. Thompson-Robinson hasn’t been able to do anything on offense, making things even more difficult on the defense.
