Westbrook-Ikhine adds desperately needed size to Dolphins wide receiver room.
The Miami Dolphins remained busy on the second day of the National Football League’s “legal tampering” period on Tuesday — this time adding some much needed size to their wide receiver room.
According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Miami inked former Tennessee Titans wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine to a two-year deal worth $6.5 million total. He gets $3.2 million fully guaranteed at signing. Standing at 6’2” and weighing in at 211 pounds, he instantly becomes a lethal redzone target for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Westbrook-Ikhine is coming off of his most productive season as a professional — nabbing 32 receptions for 497 yards and a whopping nine touchdowns in 2024.
In his five-year career (all with the Titans), Westbrook-Ikhine has amassed 126 receptions for 1,773 yards and 19 receiving touchdowns. The former Indiana Hoosier has also been a durable player since entering the league. Over the past three seasons, he has missed a total of three games.
We will continue to keep you updated with every bit of Miami Dolphins news as the NFL’s free agency continues to roll along.
