Miami has earned a commitment from former Stetson guard Jalen Blackmon, according to multiple reports.
The 6-foot-3 Indiana native was Division I’s 10th leading scorer, averaging 21.3 points per game last season. Blackmon reportedly chose the Hurricanes over Villanova, Northwestern, BYU and Cal.
He is Jim Larrañaga and Miami’s sixth roster addition this season. The Canes have added former Eastern Carolina forward Brandon Johnson and Virginia Tech big man Lynn Kidd.
Miami will also bring in 2024 McDonald’s All-American Jalil Bethea, alongside top-150 recruits Austin Swartz and Isaiah Johnson-Arigu.
