Canes busting out the special unis for this year’s rivalry game

In 2020, our own Marsh Thomas said that the Canes’ Blackout jerseys are his all-time favorite. Well, lucky for you then, Marsh, that Miami has announced they will be wearing the Black Alternate jerseys this Saturday when they Canes take on the rival Florida State Seminoles.

The new version of the black alternate jerseys are the 4th installment of these uniforms since Miami switched to adidas. The simplified design more closely mimics the normal jerseys, and you can see all the details in this tweet:

I’m on record like Marsh (and many of you) as loving these jerseys, and that hasn’t changed. I love the design. I really love the black helmets. I super duper love the black cleats. I think it’s all sexy and these jerseys are going to look awesome under the lights at HRS on Saturday night as Miami beats the hell out of Florida State.
