That’s not what you want to see
Just 48 hours before Early Signing Day, the Miami Hurricanes got some unwanted news when Jacksonville (FL) Mandarin 4-star S Hylton Stubbs flipped his commitment to the rival Florida Gators.

Stubbs shocked the recruiting world with his initial commitment to the USC Trojans. After that, Miami did well to get him to flip to the Canes as Miami looks to rebuild their secondary.
In the end, however, Stubbs chose to commit to Florida, taking one of the highest rated commitments in Miami’s class in the process. Miami falls to 14th from 10th in the recruiting rankings with Stubbs’ decommitment.
Early Signing Day (which is basically National Signing Day now) is on Wednesday. We’ll see what other developments happen along the way.
