Miami has a tight end that has been playing college football for nearly a decade.
Cam McCormick, in his ninth year of playing, is on the field for the 2024 season and fans are stunned by it. He scored the first touchdown of Miami’s season.
“I’m torn with the Cam McCormick story. 9 years in college!?! Part of me is happy for him. Part of me is like ‘Get a Job.’ But I guess CFB is a ‘job’ nowadays,” one tweet read.

McCormick started his career in 2016 with Oregon and redshirted that season before playing in 13 games during the 2017 season. He then got hurt during the 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 seasons before playing in 13 games each of the last two seasons.
He spent the 2022 season with Oregon before transferring to Miami and playing in 13 games last year.
Florida got a field goal after McCormick’s touchdown and trails 7-3 in the second quarter.
