Former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones is not impressed with the current state of Miami’s football program, that’s for sure.
During the late stages of the Pinstripe Bowl this Thursday, Jones called out Miami’s coaching staff on social media. He even took a shot at the Hurricanes’ fan base.
“Man, I feel bad for the recruits going to Miami U for NIL…….. bad staff, no stability within program and one of the worst college home game atmospheres,” Jones wrote on Twitter. “Chasing the money isn’t always the answer. But good luck.”
This wasn’t a random post from Jones. The former national champion clearly didn’t like what he was watching between Miami and Rutgers.
To be fair, Miami looked putrid in the Pinstripe Bowl this Thursday. Not only did the defense struggle to stop the run, the offense failed to establish any sort of identity.

When the Hurricanes hired Mario Cristobal as their head coach in 2022, the belief was he’d turn the program around.
And yet, after two seasons at Miami, Cristobal owns an underwhelming 12-13 record.
